We received an awesome comment from our last update and we took it to fruition! We know some of you wanted to gift ArchRavels for the holidays and we're so sorry for the delays. But because we can't get enough of Snugglesaurus, we commissioned more artwork by artist, Rochelle Steder, for the holidays!

2) Advanced Retail Copies
We have some spectacular news. A handful of advanced retail copies of ArchRavels arrived this week and we absolutely LOVE them. It really is all we wanted and we're so excited to share this with you. Your copies are still traveling on a boat and we'll update you once they arrive at our fulfillment center.

ArchRavels is at the port!

Hey Crafters!
We're so thankful <3
First of all, we hope you all had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so grateful for you folks for believing in ArchRavels and for patiently waiting for us to perfect this cute, cozy, interactive game to our high standards. We've been through several rounds of review: GameTrayz proof, bowl proofs, playmat proofs, token proofs, blank proofs, and then the final proof. Still in progress: realistic yarn resin proofs.
Looking back even with the extended timeline, we're thankful we trusted our gut and reviewed as much as we did. Now we can confidently say that we're happy with the product and we think you'll be happy with it too.
We're on a boat!
A second thing to be thankful of: Your copy of ArchRavels is in a 20 ft. shipping container, on a boat, at a port, and in any moment now this silly game about collecting yarn and knitting fuzzy goodies will embark on a long journey across the ocean, to the United States, and will end at our fulfillment partner by end of December.

Reminder: BackerKit closes soon & Production Update!

Hi Crafters,
We know that this week has been a stressful week for a lot of people. We hope that you all have been keeping safe and taking care of yourselves.
Reminder: BackerKit Store Closing - NEXT WEEK
We're closing the BackerKit store Saturday, November 14th. If you haven't confirmed your pledge information and verified your address - please do so! (By the way this is only like 4% of backers so don't stress...)
Once BackerKit is closed we'll be doing two things:
1 - We're moving pre-order processing to shop.xyzgamelabs.com.
2 - We're locking down addresses to prep for fulfillment
So, If you haven't already:
- Fill out your BackerKit Survey
- Update your address in BackerKit
To do either of these things just go to https://archravels.backerkit.com/ - Use your email to bring up your order and update your address.
For all those that emailed us over the last week with updates - we got you. (But you can also verify your shipping address to be sure by going to https://archravels.backerkit.com/)
Production
We've been receiving a lot of questions regarding production and shipping. We've promised to be transparent about the process and we have a couple of updates:
- Production is about 2 weeks behind schedule due to delays with the manufacturer. This is not surprising but it is unfortunate. (estimate is Mid-to-Late November)
- Once production is complete we then have 20-40 days until our fulfillment center receives and begins processing all our orders. (estimate is Mid-to-Late December)
Just to set expectations correctly: Once production is complete we are waiting for a boat full of crafty goodness to cross the Pacific. Given the timelines provided by our manufacturer, fulfillment center and shipping company we believe most backers will receive their base game and yarn bowls right around the end of the year. With a second wave shipment of all other add-ons coming in Feb 2021. This of course can change as new information becomes available.
We appreciate everyone's patience. We'll post another update in about 2-3 weeks when we expect primary production to be complete. Once we've cleared production and the games are on a boat, we'll have a clearer picture on shipping for you all.

Waiting for Production & BackerKit

Hi Crafters,
We're nearing the end of mass production but we'll have more updates on that coming soon. Here's some updates we do have for you.
BackerKit Store Closing
If you haven't already:
1) Fill out your BackerKit Survey
2) If you've moved or plan on moving soon please let us know your updated shipping address by emailing us at [email protected]
We plan on closing the BackerKit store by Next Friday, November 6th. If you have any friends or family who may be interested in getting the game, please have them pre-order before it switches over to our online store.
Splitting Shipments
- Backers who ordered the base game and the wooden bowls: those items will ship first to all backers.
- Backers who ordered playmats, realistic yarn balls, and any other add-ons(patches, stickers, totes, pins, postcards): those items will come in a second shipment.
So why will there be a second shipment?
Yarn Balls: We've seen some samples and we haven't been happy with the finish and size. We wanted to make sure the finish is high quality and it's taking a few extra turns with the manufacturer to get it just right. We wanted to reduce the size of the yarn balls from 14mm to 12 mm so that they will fit better in the GameTrayz Insert.
Playmat: The printer has production delays due to an influx of orders, so these will have to come in the second shipment as well.

Mass Production Update

Hey Crafters,
We received some questions in the campaign so we're happy to update you all!
ArchRavels Base Game
- Mass production is underway on the game with ready date is near the end of October. Once we have that in our hands we'll be taking additional photos and posting another update!
Deluxe Wooden Bowls
- Remember these beautiful bowls you voted on? Mass production is complete. They are sitting in storage while the factory waits for the rest of the items!
Neoprene Playmat
- Mass production is about to begin on the playmat! We approved the art work just need to get it started and time it with the rest of the items.
Realistic Yarn Balls
- We're in the middle of proofing the resin yarn balls. We'll have another update covering the realistic balls!
Other Add Ons
- If you're not sure about what Add-Ons are available check out the Backerkit store. We have stickers, pins, tote bags, and post cards. Those are getting kicked-off soon and they all have short turn-arounds compared to the other items!
